Lydia – Co-Founder of Puppy Therapy Sussex


Mum of three boys, happily married, proud dog mum to Vinnie (Miniature Poodle), Sicario (Fluffy Frenchie), and newest addition Blondie (Dachshund).


🐶 Dog Passion: Dog lover from birth! Highly qualified in dog-related work, businesses, and skills. Been working with dogs since 2016 

Canine First aid trained ⛑️


Favourite breed in Puppy Therapy so far:

Show cockers ❤️


Personality Quirks: Loves everything clean and organized, struggles in mess


If she were a dog breed, Curly-haired and full of energy, Lydia’s a Poodle at heart—clever, loyal, and always ready for fun. Bonus: everyone used to call her that anyway! 🐩 


Team Role on a Desert Island: The Jokester—keeping everyone laughing, even when stranded. 🏝️ 


Fun Fact: Allergic to hair dye and had a near-death experience! ☠️

Favourite breed in puppy therapy so far: French bulldogs 🐶 


If she was a dog breed:

Italian Greyhound Lovable and Loyal – Deeply caring and devoted to those they trust, even if social interactions can feel awkward! 🐕 


Team role on Desert island: 

The Panickier— will think she’s dying 95% of the time.🏝️ 


Fun fact:

petrified of stickers 😝

digs herself holes easily, zones out during conversations.

Mum to 2 cats and works in a primary school during the week.

 

🐶 Dog Passion: Owned over 100 dog books when I was younger, that’s all I would read! I was never allowed a dog though 😞😂

Favourite breed in Puppy Therapy so far: Border collies & boxers 


Personality: adhd and anxious but super efficient, funny and friendly 


If she were a dog breed: An Afghan hound (apparently it’s the hair similarities)


Team Role on a Desert Island: The Optimist

• Personality: Sees the bright side no matter what, always hopeful.

• Island Role: Keeps spirits high when things go wrong, convinces everyone “we’ll find the treasure eventually!”


Fun Fact: I have skydived out of a plane at 15,000ft in Australia

If she were a dog breed: Labrador/Retriever - people pleaser, quick learner, rule follower, and always thinking about food!


Team role on a desert island: the organiser. 

- Personality: likes structure, lists and rules.

- Island role: keeps track of food, schedules, and duties. Sometimes annoys free spirits. 


Fun Fact: when I was a child I loved ketchup so much that I ate it with chocolate buttons 🍫🥫


Personality: loves a plan and making endless lists on my phone ✅


Childhood beliefs: that ET was real and still terrified of him today 👽
